There are many types of ulcers namely oral ulcer, peptic ulcer, corneal ulcer, genital ulcer and so on. In these stomach ulcer is common. This is accompanied by heartburn and indigestion. Other symptoms are appetite and weight loss. Ulcer affects the nerves in the stomach. Some of the activities increase the ulcer. They are smoking, excess intake of alcohols, medications or corti steroids, improper diet, skipped meals and stress. Ulcer is reduced by intake of food at regular time.
